NBC Brings Chuck Back For More

Published by jasgal142 at 12:32 pm under Television Edit This

Okay, so I am a little late with this post. But if you have not heard NBC is bringing back Chuck for season number three. This is extremely good news, as Chuck has been one of my favorite shows from the past two years. If you have not watched Chuck, do yourself a favor and check it out at NBC.com or Hulu.com.
Most of the reason for the renewal, no doubt, comes from newly signed sponsor Subway. I would imagine they will be featured in a major way in the upcoming season. Perhaps Chuck, Sarah, and Casey will find themselves working at the sandwich shop. Can you imagine Adam Baldwin’s Casey asking “White or Wheat?” on a regular basis? The guy will go crazy. So very excited for new episodes.
The downside to the renewal will be the cast. The reason Chuck left the Buy More was not a change in life, but a change in expenses. We can expect less of the Buy More Nerd Herd and all of the extra characters we have come to love. This is bad news because the crew was always good for a laugh, hopefully Jeff & Lester and Anna too pop up more than I expect them too.
One of the bright spots in plot of the series will be Chuck’s Matrix-like Kung Fu skills from the new version of the Intersect he has stuck in his head. While the new skills should help him out with Sarah, I am not so sure Casey is ready to treat Chuck like an equal. The change in relationship dynamics should be very entertaining at the very least.
No doubt fans are looking forward to the new season with great expectations, and a greater hope that the show can not just survive, but thrive.
