Sherlock Holmes Slated For December 25, 2009 Release
Robert Downey Jr. must enjoying his second rise to fame. As if the role of Tony Stark did not fit him perfectly along comes another franchise in the making with Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes. While the trailer hints at typical Robert Downey Jr. type material, comedy and drama, it presents the movie in a great light. Let’s not leave out Jude Law who looks set to steal the show as Watson or the terribly hot Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler. This version of Sherlock Holmes looks like a great flick, though the Christmas season is generally kinder to family oriented fluff, and this looks a tad more hard core than audiences may go for. Then again, you never know what audiences will favor should the economy stay on the downside.
